Williams Equestrian Center is part of a much larger picture. Growing up on a ranch surrounded by horses, Chim Williams Welborn knew the powerful connection between horses and humans. With the support of her family and friends she built not only a for profit equestrian facility, but also Starlight Therapeutic Riding Center, a registered nonprofit therapeutic riding and center with horsemanship for people with disabilities at its core. And, while the two operate independently, they are connected by the passion to provide all individuals with the opportunity to pursue their dreams, improve their physical health and mental well-being in partnership with the horse.
